What is Lipotherme?
LipoTherme is a safe, effective, minimally invasive procedure that uses a laser to liquefy and remove undesired fat in specific body areas. Lipotherme's thermal and heating effect causes the skin to contract resulting in firmer smoother skin that further increases your body shaping and sculpting goals.
The clinical term for this procedure is laser-assisted lipolysis (also called laser lipolysis or laser lipo for short). It is also called Body Sculpting. This is an evolution of traditional liposuction which is a highly invasive procedure. Lipotherme laser Lipolysis by contrast is a minimally evasive procedure, done under an infusion of local anesthesia with almost no down time.
Why diet and exercise are sometimes not enough.
It is well known by most people that the path to a more shapely and healthy body is through proper exercise and diet. However sometimes this isn't sufficient to help you get to your ideal body contours and shape. Multiple factors like genetics, hormones and age may prevent you from getting rid of fat in certain areas of your body. Lipotherme Liposuction is developed for and is an ideal treatment to get rid of persistent areas of fat in women and men who have reasonably normal Body Mass Index or BMI.
What kind of results can be expected from the Lipotherme Liposuction procedure?
Our consultants will help you set realistic expectations. Lipotherme patients will experience immediate results after the procedure because of the decrease in the fat and the instantaneous skin contraction and tightening. The results improve over the following 2 days to 5-6 months, depending upon your own body's chemistry. All patients have noted a definite decrease in the size of the areas worked on.
The Lipotherme Liposuction procedure is very safe! And it has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use for laser-assisted lipolysis.
